Immunizations changes for transfer students

Students transferring to a different campus, even within the same school district, must have met all the same immunization requirements of a new student. Please be sure that your child has all immunizations. Bring their shot record to the site nurse to approve to avoid delays in school enrollment. SB 277: beginning January 1, 2016 exemptions based on personal beliefs will no longer be an option for the vaccines that are currently required for entry into child care or school in California.

Effective January 1, 2021, new medical exemptions can only be issued using the CAIR-ME website. The parent / guardian must initiate the process at https://cair.cdph.ca.gov/ exemptions/home
