The office of assessment and accountability supports student learning by coordinating, developing, analyzing and reporting student achievement data. From this page, you can find information about State and District assessments and view the results of these tests.

CASSPP was administered to students in grade 11 during the Spring of 2023. If your child took the CAASPP, you can access their individual results through ParentVUE. Click here to visit our ParentVUE website to watch videos and read instructions on how to access ParentVUE. Please keep in mind that these scores are only one measure of an individual student's learning. Data from these assessments is used as part of a broader picture of student achievement. Teachers use these results with site and classroom assessments to help adjust instruction throughout they year.
Please note: This was the second statewide test given to California students since 2019. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 test was significantly revised by the California Department of Education (CDE), providing a new baseline for school district and sites to measure progress moving forward. Due to the significant changes in the test, districts and sites are unable to make direct comparisons with previous years' results. However, consistent strong results are indicative of system-wide collaboration of parents, teachers, and staff to facilitate student success. We are proud of our students and know they accomplishments are reflected in many different ways. CAASPP results are just one measure of progress and should be reviewed along learning information as well.

ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California)
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is the mandated state test for determining English language proficiency (ELP). It is administered as an initial assessment to newly enrolled students whose primary language is not English; and, annually, as a summative assessment to students who have been previously identified as EL students. AP (Advanced Placement) Testing
AP exams are standardized exams designed to measure how well a student has mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course. Most AP courses have an end-of-the-year exam, but a few courses have different ways to assess what you've learned - for example, AP Art and Design students submit a portfolio of work for scoring.
As a result of the feedback we received from the 21-22 Educational Partners meeting in developing the LCAP, EUHSD is offering free AP testing to all EUHSD students for the 23-24 school year!

PFT (Physical Fitness Test)
The PFT for students in California schools is the FITNESSGRAM®. The main goal of the test is to help students in starting life-long habits of regular physical activity. Students in grade 9 take the fitness test.
The 2023-2024 PFT is to be administered between February 1 and May 31, 2024.
