January is School Board Member Month! Let’s celebrate EUHSD’s Board of Education for their time and dedication to support our students, staff, and schools.

This week, Superintendent Petersen administered the oath of office to Board Members Christi Knight and Ryan Williams, who were recently elected to a 4-year term. We also recognized outgoing President Christi Knight for her leadership and dedication over the past year. A huge thank you to all our board members for their unwavering support and service to this district.

Congratulations to Escondido Adult School’s College and Career Technician Blanca Rojas, who was selected as the California Council for Adult Education (CCAE) Southern Section Classified Employee of the Year. She was recently recognized and presented with an award at the CCAE Fall Conference in Palm Springs

Students from Escondido High School and San Pasqual High School made more than 200 toy cars for children at Lincoln Elementary and Farr Elementary. Check out this video highlighting the students making the toys and hand delivering them. So many smiles!

Recently students from Del Lago Academy - Campus of Applied Science visited Palomar College 's Trade and Industry Building. This is the first visit in a series of small, targeted trips for students with a high degree of interest in trade programs. The students are excited to explore different trades and discover new career opportunities. Thank you, Palomar College, for welcoming our students

Lily Irigoyen from San Pasqual High School is the EUHSD Inspirational Student of the Month for November. Congratulations Lily! She is commended for her unrelenting determination, perseverance, and grace. Principal Cory Gregory shared, “Witnessing her desire to work towards being the best student she can be has been enlightening to those in her presence. Lily is so positive and just loves life.”

At this week’s Board Meeting we had special guests. San Pasqual High School ’s FRC Team 3255 SuperNURDs presented about the robotics team and showed off their amazing robot. All present really enjoyed seeing the robot in action. Thank you SuperNURDs!
