We celebrate National FFA Week from February 17-24! Over at Escondido High School, students welcomed these incredibly cute baby pigs as they made their way to the Ag farm. How adorable is this?

Students from Del Lago Academy - Campus of Applied Science developed projects to educate 3rd graders on a science standard. The top seven projects from the 10th grade class were showcased at the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum, where friends and family gathered to celebrate their success.

Thank you to Vallecitos Water District for welcoming students from Del Lago Academy - Campus of Applied Science. Students had the opportunity to explore the diverse career opportunities in water management and technology. Students were greeted by professionals eager to share their knowledge and experience in the field.

The Escondido Chamber of Commerce recognized five exceptional EUHSD students at today's Rising Stars breakfast. Each shared struggles they've overcome, plans for the future, and expressed appreciation for being selected. Congratulations to all!

Over 170 seniors from our high schools participated in the first EUHSD Career Fair. In collaboration with the San Diego County Office of Education, students received information on apprenticeships and mingled with 30+ Career Technical programs. It was a hit!

Sneak peek behind the scenes! San Diego’s new major league soccer team, San Diego Football Club, shines the spotlight on local artists. They are showcasing the talents of our community artists, including our very own CTE Teacher Aled Anaya. His artwork in our schools and beyond is truly exceptional. Congratulations to Aled on this well-deserved recognition! Be sure to keep an eye out for the spotlight from SDFC.

February is Career Technical Education (CTE) Month. CTE helps students form career goals and provides pathways for career readiness. Check out our CTE programs!

Celebrate National School Counseling Week with us! This week is National School Counseling Week, and we're taking the opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of school counselors. They provide guidance and support to students in many ways, including college and career advice, and emotional support. This year's theme, "School Counseling: Standards-Based, Student-Focused", highlights their dedication to the students. Don't forget to show your appreciation to our amazing counselors!
