I hope you will encourage students to come to our program on prescription drug abuse this coming Thursday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC. This a powerful cultural event that really targets a frightening and growing problem in our community. The event will be in English, with good Spanish translation.

The program is put on by a physician, a DEA agent and the family of a boy (and the boy) who overdosed on prescription drugs. We are the only school in the area that is getting this program, and we hope to get a big turnout of parents and students so we can get the word out.
