Parent Education Presentation: How to Improve Literacy in the Home

We will be hosting a parent presentation this coming Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The topic will be how to improve literacy in the home. Luz Elena Perez is the presenter, and the program is excellent. The target audience for this program is Spanish speaking parents and future parents, which means it is also highly recommended for students. All families in attendance will receive free books, and we will hold a raffle for new copies of The Hunger Games trilogy and Twilight series. The program will be held in the Parent Center (we move to the library if attendance is too high) from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Childcare is provided.
