Escondido, CA – The Escondido Union High School District (EUHSD) is pleased to announce that Valley High School Groundskeeper/Custodian Miguel Velasquez has been selected as the 2024 San Diego County Classified School Employee of the Year.

Escondido, CA – On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Escondido Union High School District’s Governing Board swore in David Vincent as Board Member representing Trustee Area 5. Vincent ran in the Special Election, consolidated with the Presidential Primary, to fill the vacancy on March 5, 2024. David Vincent won with 60% of the votes and will serve the remainder of the term through 2026.

The Escondido Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation recognized five exceptional EUHSD students at yesterday’s Rising Stars breakfast. Each shared struggles they've overcome, plans for the future, and expressed appreciation for being selected. Congratulations to all!
